Another banquette...obviously I'm still obsessed with this idea. I do like that it's at the end of a galley style kitchen, since that is what I have. Ideas are still brewing...

Love this idea. I think this would work well with coasters from pubs too.

I repainted my living room walls a few months back but have yet to hang shelves. I wanted big long shelves with a lip along the front so I could prop frames up on them, thus allowing for a quick change. Unfortunately the walls in my house are crooked and a five foot shelf against the wall created a two inch gap on one end if the other end was flush against the wall. I'm still contemplating solutions. I love the clothes line idea, but I'm not sure I can pull it off for my living room. Plus, I have prints that I want to put into frames to preserve them. Perhaps I'll incorporate this into my studio or J's room for photos and artwork. Thoughts?

I'm in love with the bright colors set against the white on this quilt. I picture this in some whitewashed little beach cottage, perhaps out on a little couch that sits on your wraparound porch, for those chilly nights when the breeze is coming in off the water. That just reminded me, I had a dream last night about buying a fixer-upper on the water. Hmm...wouldn't that be nice?
